Strat Draft

Welcome to Strat Draft!

This page is designed to help new users setup and manage a draft for their league.  With this program you can conduct nearly any type of draft that you are used to, plus a few more.  For example you could conduct a leisurely draft where people log into the system and make their draft pick as they are able to find time.  On the other end of the spectrum you could conduct a draft with rigid time limits that pass over any team that exceeds their time limit without making a pick.  In either case the system can automatically send e-mails to the league members as draft picks are made so that everyone is kept current with the draft and its status.

 The first time you login to Strat Draft you are brought to a screen similar to the one below.

This is a sample draft that has been setup automatically for your league.  It consists of five teams including yours which is listed in the first position, and the draft has been setup for five rounds.  As we proceed through this help, we'll see how to modify, add or delete teams and players to the draft as well as increase or reduce the number of rounds.  For right now however let's play with the draft system to get familiar with the controls and how it works.

In the upper left corner you will see the current draft status.  Presently your draft is on hold.  Let's start the draft and make a draft pick!  Pass the mouse over the "Administrative Tools" menu and you will see a submenu appear with the first option being "Resume Draft", click on it. 

 

The screen will be updated and indicates we are currently in round number one, pick number one.  The team with the current pick is the "Team At Bat" and in this example is the Peanut Pickers, your team.  The team with the next pick is the "Team On Deck", Sample1.
