Primary Email: If the league has enabled email notification, the system can notify you automatically each time a draft selection is made.  The notification is sent to this email address. The primary address receives the full status message including up to the last ten picks

Notification: If "Primary Email" is checked, this allows you to choose between being notified after each draft selection or only after a draft selection nearing your turn.  Choosing "Notify this address only as my turn approaches" generates a notice of a pick made only when within 3 picks of your turn.

Secondary Email: If the league has enabled email notification, the system can notify you automatically each time a draft selection is made.  The notification is sent to this email address. The secondary address receives an abbreviated status message showing the last pick and the team now up.

It's ok to notify me: We respect your privacy so notifications are kept o a minimum.  If we do send out notifications it's usually late in the year to tell you about new features that have gone in ,

Regular Drafts:

Auto Draft:When checked and your turn comes up, your highest available choice is automatically drafted for you.  This automatic pick is made only at the beginning of your turn but in timed drafts that may be modified (see below under "For Timed Drafts Only").   If your pick is already up you must draft manually.   Therefore if you add information to the Autodraft system while your turn is up, it will not take affect until your next pick.  Auto draft remains enabled and will continue drafting for each of your turns until turned off.   An email is sent to the active addresses in your profile detailing what auto draft did each time it runs.  A list of available players is shown in the sections "Standard Players" as well as "Auxiliary Players".  The section Auxiliary players will be shown only if any auxiliary players exist.

Auctions:

eBay® Style Bidding:You may place automatic bids on up to 15 players by specifying the player, the number of years you want the contract to run and your maximum bid. The system will calculate the minimum value necessary to place your bid in first place within the bounds you define. In all cases the automatic bid placed will be for the number of years you enter in this form, only the dollars of the bid will change. For example if there are currently no bids for your player the system will bid 1 dollar on him. If there is currently a multiple year contract with a perceived value of $120, the system will calculate the minimum dollars it must bid to exceed the current perceived value while making the contract length the same as you defined in the form. Additionally you choose either “maximum dollar bid” where you know exactly the maximum dollars that will be bid per year, or “maximum value bid” where the system is limited by the perceived value and not the dollars per year.

For Timed Drafts Only: Some drafts have time limits stating you only have a finite amount of time to draft before the pick is either forfeited or passed over. In drafts of this nature you can specify when your pick is to be made, immediately when your turn comes up to avoid any delays to the league or alternately you can have auto draft make your pick as a last resort. In the case of the latter, this allows you the chance to be present and make the pick yourself but have the peace of mind knowing that auto draft has your back in case you don't make it online in time.

Standard Players: Your Local draft administrator has selected which players appearing on the ratings disk will be available in the draft.  Those players are listed here along with an ID.  This ID is internal to the draft system and can be used in the auto draft feature explained immediately above.

Pre-Majors Players: If your Local draft administrator has set up the draft so players not yet in the majors may be drafted, you will see a dialog in which you can request an ID for such a player. This special ID can only be seen by you and will be seen in the "Auxiliary Players" section at the bottom of the page. You may then place that ID in the auto draft dialog above and that player will be drafted in the order you have set for the auto draft. By hiding this ID from other teams, no one else will be reminded that another team (you) is interested in that player. Note however that if another team also requests an ID for the same player, they also will be given the same ID yet will not know that you have also requested an ID for the player.

Auxiliry Players: (Not shown here) Your Local draft administrator has selected which players not appearing on the ratings disk will be available in the draft.  Those players are listed here along with an ID.  This ID is internal to the draft system and can be used in the auto draft feature explained immediately above.  Additionally players you have requested ID's for in the Pre-Majors section also appear here.  Read more about pre-majors players immediately above.
