Automated Draft System

Administrator's rights required

Assign: You may assign an action to a draft pick which leaves any trade, drafter's comment or admin's comment in place and undisturbed.  You may not assign an action to a draft pick that already contains a drafted player.  Available actions are:

  1. Pause - The draft will automatically be placed on hold as soon as the draft reaches this draft pick, and the action is cleared.  This gives additional control to the administrator in regulating the flow of the draft.  The administrator may resume the draft at any time.
  2. Skip - A Skip will prevent that particular draft pick from being taken.  Only an administrator enters a Skip.  The drafter can bypass their own pick when their turn comes up by entering Pass.  Only the owner of the draft pick can enter a Pass.
  3. Clear Action - Removes the Pause or Skip
  4. AutoStart - Acts like Pause and places the draft on hold when the draft reaches this pick.  Unlike Pause however, it automatically resumes the draft at the specified day and time.  Rather than getting up early in the morning just to resume the draft, let the system do it for you!

Pick#: Enter the pick# of the pick you wish to enter or clear an action.

Round#: Enter the round# of the pick you wish to enter or clear an action.

Consecutive Rounds#: (not shown) Specify the number of rounds this change is to be made.  This is not consecutive picks, but consecutive rounds where only the specified row (pick#) is changed.

If AutoStart is selected, the following appears:

Automatically resume: Allows you to specify the day the draft will resume.  0 is the same day, 1 is the next day, up to 3 days into the future.

at: Specify the time of day to resume.
